So I remember one time where I was on a plane (delta) and I had priority thingy and it sat there ready for a 12 hr flight (this when I was 15) to the u.s to visit my grandparents (haven’t seen them since I was 10 yrs old) I boarded the plane after the gates opened and I sat down.
