A war began on my SMP

Recently a war began on my SMP, and my opponent began it by blowing up the bases of a bunch of my allies. I then blew up his base, and he blew up mine, and so finally, I proposed a fight. Unfortunately, he has like 7 god apples and way better gear than me, and although I am more skilled, I have a feeling that’s not gonna be enough. So, I am turning to the hypixel forums to see if anyone has any ideas on how I could trap/kill him.
