Are Ice minions good for profit?

They are amazing for mining exp but i want to know if they are good with profit. I have 8 t8 ice minions with compactors and 1 t11 ice minion with sc3k and hyper catalysts. Making them max will cost me 12m and i have 18m in purse so is it a good investment?
