Crimson isle combat level 22???

I know I'm late to this but I logged on a while back after not playing on a Coop for a while and I couldn't progress with what i was doing on getting the ember rod bc they made it such a high combat level to get access to the island. Haven't played in over a year and started a new coop with 2 guys and what are the most efficient ways to upgrade combat level fast ( full lapis armour)
