Current Berserker Meta?

I haven't played skyblock in 2 years, and I'm looking to return. I want to run bers in dungeons. Asking around, this was the feedback I got:
- OFA Giant's is no longer relevant, BoL is meta
- Valk is bad now, switch to either Astarea/Hype
- My magical power is too low
- Maxor Boots > Necron's Boots

I have a few questions:
1) Should I switch to Astarea or Hype, and why?
2) What is the cheapest way to get more magical power?
3) I'm seeing some people talk about term. Is it used in berserker...
