Custom skull texture pack

I've been trying to make a texture pack that replaces the texture for the golden necron head ingame. I have optifine but don't know how to make the custom texture for the skull to change to a different texture based on it's name. Basically what I'm trying to do is replace the default Golden necron head texture with the text of a wither skeleton skull, so that it can match better with black necron.
