One reason I don't like winter, aside from the cold, is the total lack of sunlight. Sunset happened before 5 today, and the last bit of red is fading from the horizon as dark clouds cover the sky at the moment. I like the long summer days. Where I live, the longest day is over 15 hours of sunlight. The shortest day, December 21st, only has 9 hours of sunlight.
