Display contextual content does not work in Featured content

If I activate Display contextual content, within thread_view:above_posts there are also featured threads displayed from other forums.

Display contextual content ("If selected, the widget will display content which pertains to the location the widget appears in. For example, if the widget appears within a forum, it will only display threads from that forum.")
