You might be hearing that you can merge your Mojang Account with a Micro$oft account. In fact, they have been starting to persuade you to do so on every start of the launcher, and/or bribing you with a free cape.
However, by doing so, you agree that:
- Your Mojang account will be PERMANENTLY removed.
- Most modpack loaders (if you want to play some modpacks outside of Hypixel, not ON hypixel) will be unavailable to you, as they do not support this new system.
