Doing and upgrade from V 1.5.18 to V 2.1.1

So basically I've been out of the loop for many years now.
My Forum is still running on the old V 1.5.18 and at the moment the latest version I can choose to download is V 2.1.1

Any help/pointers of what I need to do to upgrade from V 1.5.18 to V 2.1.1 ?
