Gemstone mining is getting nerfed. This has been confirmed in cowshed. We don't know how but if I had to guess it would be the effectiveness of Mining Fortune on pristine, the pristine stat, or the NPC sale price of Gemstones. This will decrease the effectiveness of gemstone mining, obviously. But your mining gear might be useful still. The way you might be able to make money post-nerf is
