At a simple level, the way hypixel shows skill levels on duels is with the titles e.g: gold 2, master 4, diamond 1,
I've realised that this really rarely shows skill levels, all it shows is the amount that people play the gamemode.
For example, (not showing off just an example), I consistently beat bridge masters and often legends even though I am only diamond 3 because I dont play often.
These people play more but aren't often better in terms of skill.
