Mages focus on their Intelligence, making them deal a lot of AOE damage and to clear rooms efficiently, however they are in lack of ehp (effective health points), defense and aswell as speed. Mages are really "squishy" and they die very often, mostly to skeletons if you do M1 without the proper gear. They do NOT focus on Crit Chance, Crit Damage or Strength.
