Entomology nerd loses their mind over the firefly thing

Hello as an ecology student and general entomology and herpetology aligned person I would like to say that not adding two pixel fireflies because they're "poisonous to frogs" is genuinely fucking baffling to me. Not even because of how it affects the scraps of content this kinda barebones update is but because its just. Such a BAFFLING misunderstanding of the ecology of these animals. Fireflies are aposematic! Thats why they often have striking patterns with reds and light colors, as well as glowing! And their aposematism is so effective that other insects, such as other beetles like Cerambycids, and roaches like Schultesia lampyridiformis and Pseudomops sp. mimic them. Fireflies do have toxic, bitter tasting compounds, but the intent of these compounds is to deter predation on the species as a whole rather than kill, since an animal will learn to avoid something like a firefly or brightly colored butterfly as a prey item after attempting to eat one and then getting a mouthful of awful taste.

tldr: if some dev or mojang intern sees this please come up with a better excuse for not adding the 2 pixel mob next time lmao
