This idea is taken from gacha game pity systems but like -- it could be applicable.
What if when you talk to Maddox, you could select a rngesus drop you want to go for? Like -- you're an ironman player who wants a beheaded horror for a reaper mask. After you get two snake runes, or any other rngesus drop that isn't the reaper mask, your third rng drop is guaranteed to be a beheaded horror.
Now -- does that mean you can select a warden heart or judgement core? No. Those, along with overflux...
