How do I get faster t4 times?

Currently at a ~90s boss time, with 30 kills to spawn. It's not terrible, but not good either. Sitting on a low purse makes me hungry.
Some things also annoy me: I actually have to swap between reaper helm and crimson helm during p3 of boss, since I can't survive without it, but when I put it on, it's comfy and I don't die. If I take it off, and just use crimson, I die reallyyy fast.

I'd like to be able to phase skip, but in p2 I can't get the transition before the pillar lands, so I still...
