How to you change the thread list view on "What's new"

After member feedback, I have changed the font size and colors for thread lists that there's more contrast between read/unread threads. Unread threads are now displayed in a different color and font weight.

But this change isn't occurring on What's New, which is how the overwhelming majority of members navigate the site. On there, it sticks to default values.

How do you change the styling for thread lists in the What's New/Latest Posts sections? Can't find anything via Google or...
