i got not sound in 1.8.9

it's pretty in much in the title but here's some clarification

-i tried playing newer version of minecraft and they have sound
-i tried with badlion client, curseforge and the minecraft lancher and there was no sound with all three
-i tried the F3 + s/t didn't work
-i uninstalled minecraft, badlion, curseforge and deleted the .minecraft file and reinstalled them but nothing happened

i know that i could play on 1.21 but the resource pack i'm using need forge and optifine witch 1.21 does...
