Is my mining setup good enough to start ore mining?

As of right now, I have 9m mithril powder and about 21m gemstone, as well as a 655 with 3/4 divan and 1/4 glossy, I tested the setup that is currently shown on my skycrypt, and was making about 12m/hr mining diamonds, which I know isn't very good. Other than getting the last jades on my armor and a drill engine, is there anything else that I'm missing?
