Joined infection game... and was able to fly?

I queued infection and instead of being put into the waiting room, I got put immediately into the game. When I saw my character it was invisible (except for the iron chestplate) and was able to fly around the map with the bow. I'm not sure why this happened; probably something to do with me joining exactly when the game is starting? Even then I'm not sure why I was invisible and why I was able to fly like I was in the lobby. I didn't play around to test what was wrong (since I didn't want...
