Just lost 40m to a disconnect

So I was doing a dark auction and a nether artifact popped up. I bid 41.5m on it and disconnected right after, I have rejoined hypixel and have been greeted with all that money disappeared, it was not my internet connection as I was in a call as it happened. is there any fix that can be done or have I just lost 2 days of grinding instantly? I have screenshots of proof of bids
