Knockback Discussion

I remembered a post that suggested a removal of knockback entirely. I think knockback as a whole is a status effect that adds some depth to how minecraft as a whole is played, it can be used to ones advantage but generally speaking it's annoying.

Some how, some when, some where there needs to be a proposition made to dethrone Shelmets and introduce a system that plays around knockback more in non-annoying ways.
