Kuudra supplies in solo runs

Okay Im trying to get a sub 5 (preferrably 4 for 5 is a start) basic kuudra run

on paper I should be able to get this easily

in game the tentacles give me ****ing ulcers

my main time loss is getting supplies, I know the ember armor strats and have a set myself but they aren't as applicable in a tier as low as basic

I do believe I ****ed up and have upgraded strongman a little, it isnt maxed though (is it still bad to have it? idk tbh)

basically, whats the strat for getting supplies
