Looping through attachments to get the first

Morning,

Is it possible to loop through the attachments of a resource in the xfrm_resource_view template and get the id of the first attachment?

I have dumped the $attachments variable to see what is available and it only seems to get the last attachment id.

Am I doing something silly...?
