Need help with low mining rate

Hello!

So apparently I just got the x655 and tried out different mining methods to test which one would make the most money, but so far all of them have made
me very little per hour with coal mining at 7-8m/hr and jade mining at 9.6m/hr.
The setup I used consist of a (not)maxed 655, alongside (not)maxed Divan armor and a Bal pet.

So what could be the reason causing the low mining rate? I looked arround on the forum a bit and most of the answers point out to the ping, which mine
averages...
