Not Getting Bits From Museum

I just reached a new Museum milestone, and the bits that I should've gotten never went into my bits available storage. Not only that, but it's as if I didn't even reach the next museum milestone since I was never given the option to claim anything. I'm very confused????

Idk if this is a bug or what's going on here, some explanation would be wonderful
