I have a server with a map where players cannot break/place blocks. However, there are prebuilt houses and I want each player to be able to own one.

I want them to be able to place/break blocks inside of a house, if it’s theirs.

Here’s the approach I’m considering:

Each house has a numbered cfg file that contains the following data: Owner UUID, and an array of all blocks inside the house that can be changed.

Each player has a cfg file, and it will store the number of the house they own.

When a player tries to place/break a block, it first checks if they own a house. Then, it checks if they are anywhere near said house. If they are, it iterates through the list of changeable blocks inside that house to check if the block placed/broken is in that list.

The houses will be about the size of villagers’ houses. Is this a smart way to go about this?
