Problem with minecart plugin

Hi, I'm using a plugin that increases the speed of minecarts when on specified blocks. I have this problem even when I set the speed to be the same as it would be in vanilla. The problem is that when I try to have the minecart go upwards it just bumps off of the ramp and goes the other direction. When there is a turn, the minecart just flies off of the rails.
