question about height(dont search it on google im looking for legit answers)

please dont google this and just answer if actually know the asnwer to it, ill explain. Google says that the average guy peaks their height at 16 but some of my relatives and people i know who have kids older than 20 or they themselves went thru this recently told me that at around the age of 15 we stop growing and then at around 16-17 theyre back at it growing like crazy for like another year or 2.
