question about mushroom farm angles

so i have a mushroom farm but i don't know what angle to use, i tried using -120 ( i'm farming from down to up) but with that i don't break all the crops when going backwards, i also tried 60 degrees but that also didn't work, also what keys do i press, from my testing pressing either d or w+s seems the best depending on the direction i'm going
