Question: How does Hypixel create 3D player models in Skyblock Dungeons?

I'm trying to create a fun adventure map in single player vanilla Minecraft, and I was wondering if it were possible to recreate custom player models, similar to what is in Dungeons (like the bosses themselves).

If it's not possible in Vanilla, is it possible to add these plugins to a world save file rather than needing to be run on a plugin-supporting server?
