Questions on soloing m7

Ok so I tried soloing m7 cuz I wanted to see what it would be like without a tank cuz I can duo m7 just fine and so far things I have noticed is that I take alot of dmg.
I can solo f7 just fine and stuff but because m7 mobs and boss has more health there are different strats.
Right now my problem is
- Taking too much dmg in maxor while trying to get crystals
- terminal phase (much faster than f7, any tips)
