Reward percentages

Hi there. I’m using Crazy Crates to enforce a reward system of in game items for a faction server. Players will be able to receive keys through crates (might add them to make them purchasable from the shop but unsure at present time) Non P2W. When it comes to the percentages, do they have to add up to 100% chance all together, or 100% per category (basic, uncommon, rare) or does it generally not matter, as long as the basic items are higher obtainable then uncommon, which are higher obtainable than the rare prizes? I can not find anything online about them 🫠 and it’s starting to make me freak out…
