Ruby mining rate on ironman

[Flayvers]

As an ironman i mine ruby for money, i just started making money out of it since i was to busy upgrading my gears.
The issue is, i'm ONLY making 19m an hour out of it and it fells quite low for the gear i have.

Am i being delusional and that rate if fair or is it just skill issue ?
Can i improve my gear without insane rng drop (alloy/locket/quick claw) ?
