Basically, most games with abilities and descriptions have a well laid out format that’s always used. For example, in DND attacks are written as +x to hit, x [type] damage (xd[dice type] damage), never something different like x damage on hit, this attack has +x on attack rolls.
All good games with descriptions for items have a formatting system, which makes it easier to read and understand.
