shortening enderman boss timing (potentially carrying as a mmm)

i'm looking into a setup for getting sub 45 and possibly sub 30s bosses for t4 voidglooms. The issue is that i would need to use crimson, and I literally have not touched CI, so while i'm slowly gaining rep in preparation for getting a good crimson set, likely at burning tier, I would like to know what specifically I am missing for getting these boss timings, I have an edrag already which would be useful later on should i choose to get into dungeons.
