Tanking, leveling fast and damage augmentation, HOW

Anyway, I have JUST started playing Skyblock. I mean, I haven't even unlocked the Dwarven Mines yet, and I get one-tapped by endermen. And my main goal right now is unlocking the Bazaar, but as I've advanced in levels I've noticed something annoying. I do less damage to stronger mobs (~380 with Aspect of the End) and I'm super fragile with only 180 HP.
Other than that, I still rely on the Rogue Sword for movement. Low intelligence problems.
