 | A recent project of mine set in a shared world I’ve used for stories. Long ago, the Aelden race came to the world in a vessel wrought in the shape of a spear, and constructed of glimmering crystal. The Aelden were colonists; traveling across the expanse of the universe through the use of their advanced technology, and their powerful magic. Settling worlds, they would create wonders, and contribute to the growth of the Great Aelden Cosmagistrate: the stellar nation comprised of all Aelden settled planets. On this world, the Aelden landed in a verdant cavern, vast beyond imagining and brimming with life. The colonists used their powerful magic to siphon sap from the trees high above their home, to preserve its natural beauty.
