Doing private island foraging with the enchanted bonemeal. Works well for the most part but occasionally the tree cap ability just stops activating on the logs at the bottom of the tree (from base of tree to about 6-9 blocks high). I end up having to break all of the logs 1 by 1 because the tree cap refuses to activate on these logs no matter how long i wait. However, the ability works on logs higher than that (6-9 blocks high) and once i use the ability, it continues to work on ALL logs...
