Why is it so easy to aim bows to minecraft?

Are the arrows fast? Heck, they feel faster in newer versions. (That might just be particle changes). Adjusting for height seems very easy.

Unless my enemy is a blitz SG player with 50k kills (moving like a c***k addict) , I can usually get a few bow hits before they reach me. I wait/predict for the "strafeback" when people are dodging my shots.

Idk if it's just designed to be very easy or if I am skilled. It could just be because people don't dodge good. I still struggle with projectile...
