XFMg and featured permission

Hello everyone,
I have a special request to make.
I need each user to be able to highlight (featured) their own photos (only their own photos).
If I set the moderator permission for registered usergroup, there is no possibility of highlighting only their own photos but the photos of all users.
How is it possible to manage this request? Thanks
