'XPath' Search Type for Automatic Template Modifications

It would be great if automatic template modifications supported an XPath search type relative to that template as it would couple modifications less to the template they are modifying and prevent many from breaking during upgrades.

There is another platform that does this with a UI where you can select the tag and it will generate the selector.
