Trophy Fish without Trophy fishing

I just got another Gold Trophy fish while just fishing for lava sea creatures ive now gotten 2 new gold treasure fish completions without accuallyn recieving the fish into my inventory just getting the completion
ive got maxed ssc so i cant even get trophy fish to begin with, i was always below ss cap of 5 and didnt recieve the trophy fish into my inventory it just gave me the completion for the gold trophy fish i dont know if this is intendet as ive only been playing again for the last...
